On Friday, Wyoming Medical Center hosted its second Glow Run as part of Casper's celebration of the Cowboy Tough Adventure Race. Hundreds of runners and walkers donned their brightest clothes and accessories for a chance to light up the night. This year, we included a Wellness Fair with 14 different sponsors of good health in our community.

The Glow Run is becoming a must-do event for Casper. Don't believe us? Scroll through the photos below to see all the fun you missed. Or, go to OilCitywyo.com for another great slideshow by Casper reporter Tim Kupsick.

The face painting booth was one of the busiest at the Wellness Fair, and for good reason. Here, a boy gets a layer of war paint before the race.

Thank you to those who participated in our Wellness Fair in conjunction with the Glow Run. Booths included Safe Kids of Central Wyoming and Safe Communities, Fit ‘N Flash, Wind City Dental, Black Lab Rescue, Central Wyoming Skin Clinic, Sage Primary Care, Wyoming Brain and Spine Associates, Casper Pulmonary, Wyoming Endocrine and Diabetes Clinic, and many more.

Guests peruse the booths at our Wellness Fair with Matt Strand, PA-C, of Sage Primary Care waiting for his turn in line. Wyoming Medical Center gave free A1-C screenings for diabetes and offered health-fair blood draws.

Wyoming LifeFlight personnel man their booth at the Wellness Fair.

A volunteer from Black Dog Animal Rescue poses with a canine friend at the Wellness Fair. Black Lab Rescue, a nonprofit run by volunteers, works to facilitate the adoptions of homeless animals across Wyoming.

Lisa Jackson, physician liaison at Wyoming Medical Center, takes a ride on The Convincer at our Wellness Fair before the Glow Run. The Convincer simulates the force of a car crash to demonstrate the importance of wearing seat belts every time you get in a car. Thanks to the Wyoming Highway Patrol for manning the equipment and safety features.
